Peach 🍑

Peach is a round shaped red and yellow delicious fruit. It is also called Shaftalo. In the English language, it is called Peach. Its scientific name is (Prunus persica). It belongs to the family of potato, cherry, almond and apricot.

Peaches are green in colour but ripe peaches are slightly red and yellow in colour. Its pulp is white, yellow and red. It has a kernel inside it which is very hard and inside this kernel is used in many medicines. A peach tree begins to bear fruit at the age of three or four years and bears fruit for 8 to 10 years and can bear fruit for up to 30 years in favourable climates.

The taste of peaches is raw, tart and mature sweet.

 

👉 Production:

The annual production of peach in the world is 1,22,355 tons. One-fifth of the world's peaches are produced in the United States. A sixth is produced in Italy, followed by Russia, France, China, Spain, Greece, Argentina, Japan, Turkey, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, India and Pakistan. Peaches are grown commercially in thirty US states. The largest commercial production is in the US state of California. From where peaches are also exported.

Fresh peaches are eaten as a flavour. Pitted peaches are preferred in the United States because they are juicy and tender, which are easily eaten by older people. His name is Alberta. The pitted peaches are packed in tin packs and used throughout the year and are also exported. Some of the peach production is kept in cold storage which is brought to the market after the season has passed, thus peaches are available all year round like all other fruits. A portion of peach production is also dried which is used in many bakery products. The dried fruit is also used medicinally in America and Europe.

Jams are prepared from peaches. Peach squash and syrup are also prepared. It is used in making various sweet dishes and medicines. Peach cream is also prepared as a filling in many types of superior cakes. In European countries, peach cream is eaten on fruity ice cream. Peach ingredients are added to the fruit cake. Peaches are also made into wine in America and Europe.

100 grams of peaches contain 8 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of protein, 38 calories and one gram of fibre.

 

👉 Benefits of Peaches:

Peach is cold in temperament. It strengthens the stomach and liver. Reduces the intensity of thirst. Its major benefit is that eating it removes blood heat. The nervousness in the body due to heat is removed. By extracting the oil contained in the kernel of a peach and dropping a few drops in the ear, the ear pain is relieved. This oil is useful for deafness. Peaches create an aroma in the mouth. If the appetite has decreased due to heat, eating peaches will increase the appetite. Peaches are useful in heat fever. It is a cold-tempered fruit. Useful for gram moods. Peach softens the stomach. Strengthens the kidneys.

 

👉 Treatment:

If pimples appear on the body, roast the kernel of the peach and take out the pulp and grind it and apply it on the pimples. Relaxation will come.

 

In case of chronic tuberculosis, grind 30 grams of peach leaves with black pepper and drink it with water in the morning for a few days. The disease will go away.

 

If there are white spots on the body, grind fresh peach pulp and apply it on the spots for a few days, the spots will disappear.

 

If you have abdominal pain, mix celery juice with peach juice and drink it, the pain will stop. Continue this process for two to three days.

 

If there are worms in the stomach, cut the leaves of the peach tree and squeeze their water, it will kill the stomach worms.

 

Another process to remove worms from the stomach is to sprinkle asafoetida in peach juice. This will eliminate intestinal worms.

 

If pimples appear in the back of the neck, roast the kernel of a peach and take out its kernel and grind it. Applying it once or twice will eliminate the pimples. Before taking out the giri (kernel inside), wash the neck with water and dry it with a cotton cloth, then apply the giri (kernel inside).

 

For a patient with haemorrhage, knead peach flour in water and apply it on the head. Doing this process two or three times will stop the bleeding forever.

Peaches were discovered in Mexico in this century. Then it was brought to India, mixed with wild peaches and new varieties were developed which were successful and then it was cultivated in Canada.
